Quick update of the brook during some rain, the video blow was after a fairly average rainfall. This is pretty low compared to the highst I’ve seen it. I’ll try to get some more footage when it’s really heavy but I’m not investing too much time as I’m catering for the common flow with my water wheel not the out of the blue.

That said it’s impotant to keep in mind because I’m pretty sure that with the low level of flow I have a small wheel will be all that’s efficient. With a small wheel the chance of being submerged is higher ad thus in design consideration I am going to make the wheel an enclosed unit with a set inlet gate that will prevent this. I’ll upload either a drawing or 3D render to illustrate this another time.
